Questions, answered.

What is Orderly?

Orderly is a personal dining companion from Kurvo. It helps you log restaurant visits and orders, scan receipts, split bills, save restaurants and menus, and understand your dining spending over time. It’s for diners — not a restaurant point-of-sale system.

Can I scan a restaurant receipt?

Yes. Take a photo or upload an image of your receipt and Orderly reads the text on your device, then pre-fills the restaurant, items, prices, charges and total. Anything it isn’t confident about is flagged for you to check, and it compares the items against the printed total so you can spot mismatches.

Can I manually add orders?

Absolutely. Create a dining log from scratch, add dishes and drinks (or pick them from your saved menus), and Orderly calculates line totals, discounts, service charges and the final bill for you.

Can I save my favorite restaurants?

Yes. Save restaurants with their branch, location, cuisine, menu link, your rating and notes. Mark favorites, and keep a personal menu of dishes with the prices you’ve recorded.

Can I find restaurants near me?

Yes. Tap Use my location to see restaurants, cafés and fast food around you on a map, get directions, save places to your list, or start a dining log right there. Place listings come from OpenStreetMap community data. Menus build up from the dishes you log, and Orderly links to a restaurant’s own website or menu when it’s listed.

Can I split a bill with friends?

Yes — split equally, by items (with shared dishes), or by custom percentages. Discounts and charges are allocated proportionally, and Orderly shows any rounding difference so shares always add up to the bill. Orderly calculates who owes what; it doesn’t process payments.

Can I track my dining budget?

Set a monthly dining budget and Orderly tracks what you’ve spent, what’s left, your average bill and your trends — with alerts when you’re approaching or over your limit.

Does Orderly automatically connect to restaurant systems?

No. Orderly records your personal dining information — what you enter or scan yourself. It does not access restaurant POS systems, live menus or live prices. Saved menu prices are your own historical references.

Can I edit scanned information?

Always. Every scanned field is editable before you save, and you can edit, duplicate or delete any dining record afterwards.
